The first piece can be found at 25th street and 5th avenue on top of Pentagram design’s office.
Artist and Sculptor, Antony Gormley is the one to blame for that pain in your neck. He created a public art installation which kicked off yesterday and the exhibition will include 31 naked human figures (Anatomically correct) to be placed on ledges and rooftops throughout the city including the Empire State Building which is causing some concern from police and onlookers.

Gormley says that as he’s installing the sculptures he’ll be trying to get them “as close to the edge of the buildings as possible.” The bodies which are true body casts of the artist himself, will be installed by the 26th of this month and on view through August 15th.

See if you can spot them all.
Send us an email or image and let PopUpNewYork know where they are.
